You can turn this on and off, depending on your preferences, by clicking the button in the top right corner of the screen. Designed in New Zealand and built in England in 1985, the Isabella Rose is a practical sailing boat rather than a luxury cruising yacht. She is an exceptionally spacious and safe sea-going 38' ketch with full headroom throughout. She sleeps 7 but is more comfortable with 6, and is laid out with a small double-berth aft cabin with ample storage. There is a fore-cabin with two single V-berths which can be filled in to make a wide double (which then occupies the whole cabin). In the main saloon there is a large galley, a navigation area, a big dining area that converts into a double berth, with settee seating for six around it and a single berth to starboard. Forward of this are the toilet and shower and a large hanging locker. Each cabin is reasonably private, except in the main saloon. There is only one toilet, with its own shower. There is a small cockpit outside with a second shower, and ample deck space for relaxed lounging, sunbathing or swimming off the boat.
Although 4 guests is the maximum we can comfortably accommodate on Isabella Rose, for larger groups we can arrange to charter a larger boat, or possibly to take a second boat and then sail together.
Life on the boat is not really appropriate for young children, or for those who have reached an age where physical activity has begun to lose its appeal. Teenagers with parents are welcome. Sorry - not suitable for pets. |
